| Are you a professional that works remotely and wants to get out of the city ? I am looking for a roommate for 3-6 months starting in July. I’m originally from Toronto (born and raised), work in finance and moved out here an hour away from Montreal in Sorel-Tracy to live on a farmhouse with my alpacas, goats and cats. I’ve never had a roommate before besides my son who’s all grown up and away for 6 months abroad studying so was thinking of trying something new. I specifically am looking for one person from Toronto (no couples please) as that’s where I grew up and think we’ll likely have a lot in common, at least that’s my hope. It’s like living out your cottage core dream without a major commitment. You’ll have your own bedroom on the main floor, your own private office space as well with high speed internet and the rest is shared. I’ve got a full basement as well with a ping pong table, bbq and hiking trails behind me. I have a hot tub I rarely ever use in case that’s something of interest too. My house is 10 minutes away from the marina and a beautiful promenade overlooking the st Lawrence river. I’ve got an acre and a half of beautiful land that’s super peaceful and quiet. I’ve got one indoor cat, 3 cats that like to come indoors but also go outdoors and some more barn cats. Hoping to find someone starting July for a period of 3-6 months. I will be in Toronto in June so we can chat and meet in person beforehand to see if this arrangement works. About me: I’ve travelled the world extensively, am an extrovert, have a lot of hobbies, went to culinary school, am a lifelong learner, read a lot and am decent at gardening so there will be fresh herbs, tomatoes, hot peppers and hopefully a few more variety of vegetables. I’m taking French classes and have kept mostly to myself out here and usually go into MTL to see my friends.
