| We are renting a room in our 3-bedroom home for July 1. Rent is $815 plus internet and hydro (approximately $85/month). House details: - Small stone house - Downtown, steps from Market Fresh - Front yard and backyard with garden bed, patio furniture, BBQ, and shed (room for larger items, e.g. bikes) - Sunroom with seating and reading nook - Bright living room - Kitchen with dishwasher and dining area - 4-piece bathroom (i.e. with bathtub) - Laundry room with overhead storage - Additional storage in the basement (which just houses the furnace and water heater) - Parking Bedroom details: - Large attic bedroom with reading nook - 2 windows - No closet, but mounted clothes hanging bar - Small storage cubby * Not accessible due to stairs * No bedroom door, but a curtained doorway and stairs leading up to room * Sloped ceilings best suited for a shorter person, but all are welcome to view the space About us: We (the two tenants) are in our late 30s and early 20s. We value considerateness, goofiness, and gentleness. We try to keep our house clean and tidy and are also collaborative and flexible. Things we enjoy: Sharing space and solo time. Small group hangs and the occasional larger gathering. Watching movies. Listening to and playing music. Making art and crafting. Cooking and sharing meals. Cultivating our small garden. Our home is mental health and neurodivergence-friendly. We try to keep the lines of communication open, be respectful, and meet each other where we’re at, and we're looking for someone who shares these values. Must be 2SLGBTQIA+ allied. Much of the furniture in the photos will be leaving with the current tenant. We will be re-furnishing the house after they move out and have space for communal pieces. We can only welcome hypoallergenic cat breeds into our home due to cat allergies. Unfortunately, we’re not permitted to have dogs here.
