| Small approx 7x10 furnished room for rent downtown, 5 min walk to BGH and 5 min walk to Tim Horton’s. Room contains a double bed and small dresser. The rest of the very small house will be shared (kitchen, living room, laundry, 1 bathroom) with 1 other woman. There is 1 parking space suitable for a smaller vehicle and street parking. Must be an animal lover, as you will be sharing the home with 2 cats and a very needy dog. Bonus if you don’t mind caring for them when owner goes away. No other pets can be accommodated as we are already at max pet capacity and the dog is not good with new animals. Approval will be pending a meet and greet with a very particular Australian Shepherd. Someone who picks up after themselves, does not have overnight guests, and whose occupation takes them outside the home is preferred as roommate works from home and space is small. Home is ️⚧️✊ friendly, and bigotry not tolerated. Roommate is a horse person, book lover, (lots of books in the house!) and hiker. Smokers are welcome, just go outside. First & last required, 6months-1 year term preferred, 60 days notice from either side if things are not working out. This is a verbal agreement only and will not be accompanied by a signed lease. You will be a roommate and not classified as a tenant under the RTA. A short term stay might be possible for a significantly higher rate to offset the difficulty of finding another suitable roommate in the immediate future. |
