| ISO, my dream housemate, short or long term. First off, must love gardening and have some knowledge, and must love living with a cat! I’m looking for a wonderful human to share my home with me. I live in the lower suite of a house in Fairfield with full access to the garden and the desire to continue to make the yard more abundant over time. Three blocks from Clover Point. There is tons of light in the suite with a “garden room” for shared eating, music, spiritual-somatic practice of any kind and play. The laundry room is shared with my landlord who lives upstairs. The bedroom is underneath my landlord’s bedroom, so if you are a quiet person in your room generally this will be perfect. My house is well-endowed with furniture and everything that could be needed in the kitchen for myself plus another. The room already has a nice large (blue!) chest of drawers if you need such. I am a woman who just entered my 50’s, am growing my private practice as a Health Coach & counsellor and strive to be co-regulating with another human in my home for greater health and wellness. My dream housemate: * Cares about cooking and eating mostly organic, nutrient dense food and sharing meals sometimes for conversation, friendship and overall joy. The Moss Street Farmer’s Market is just a few blocks away and is a great place for Saturday hang! * Is excited about creating an uplifting and mutually supportive relationship with a housemate * Is able to engage comfortably in conversations about things that help us continually improve the feeling of “flow,” comfort and camaraderie in the home * Enjoys some creative pursuits that are fun and engaging, including gardening * Loves making friends of the feline variety * Does not purchase or use any synthetic or toxic chemicals I have a very sweet grey indoor tabby cat, Lucy. My landlord and a couple of other supportive friends are available to help out when I go away (generally for a week over Christmas and a few short trips for camping and family visits up Island during the summer). Having my roommate to help with cat care when available during these times will be great. Rental cost is $650 all-inclusive. This will be a really sweet opportunity for just the right person. The room is available as soon as May 1st but it could be the 15th or June 1st or beyond… I am hoping to find someone soon, however there is no set move-in date, and I will be interviewing ongoingly until the fit feels good.
