| One furnished bedroom in a shared 3-bedroom duplex available May 15th or June 1, 2024. The house has three floors, 2.5 bathrooms, and laundry (washer & dryer). The main floor has a furnished living room with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. We have a secure place to store our bikes and a few storage items. We also have a front yard with a BBQ and a small garden. The bedroom has large south-facing windows and a built-in closet. The bathroom is shared with one other person (female). The rent is $1000 monthly, including utilities, internet and basic household cleaning supplies. We're at an excellent location in Mount Pleasant by Fraser & 12th Avenue. It's a 10-15 minute walk to Main Street or Commercial Drive. The bus stops for #8, 9, and 99 are 2 minute walk away, and there's a bike route two blocks away. It takes approximately 20 minutes to commute to downtown by transit or bike. You would share the house with two professionals (male and female) in their thirties. We're looking for another working professional or mature student around the same age. We're a quiet home looking for someone responsible and considerate of others and the property.
