| Furnished bedroom available in my two bedroom older quiet apartment in Altadore Calgary SW $800 / month & $800 deposit Coin laundry in basement $1.50 per machine per use Please contact by letting me know the types of references and assurances you can provide and the times you will most likely need the room for. I’ll get back to you if the room is available and discuss a guest agreement before making an appointment to show you the room and secure details from you if we proceed from there. I can for example provide personal, work, and rental references as well as pull up my credit report and have last years criminal records check and my lease. The room includes heavy duty twin over full bunk bed, mattresses, sheets, pillows, blankets, end table, desk, area rug, closest with hangers and plastic shelf. I could also switch a few things around like providing a twin bed instead of the twin over double. Use of common areas includes, washroom, shower, kitchen, stove, fridge, freezer, dishes, microwave, pots and pans. There is some storage space in the room for personal possessions, and some space will be allotted in the medicine cabinet, kitchen cupboards, fridge and freezer. Generally, storage of more significant items is not available and should not exceed a total of items that could comfortably fit into a single passenger vehicle. Sorry, no cats, dogs, poets or any other pets allowed. Ok, maybe a poet but you have to be good. No smoking of any kind in the building or near me. I’m on long haul recover from lung injury. Other things to be aware of: Room has decent second story view, 1 ½ flights of steep stairs to get to apartment Apartment is old and limited for running lots of appliances at once, no dishwasher, use washing tub in flat kitchen sink for dishes, climate control is limited, I provide and extra heater for the room for cold nights and have limited success cooling apartment in heatwaves with portable AC, though with windows on three sides the apartment does open up and cool off easily in the evenings. I rarely have company over. I am not able to share a place with people who leave dirty dishes pots and pans lying around - it's an immediate deal breaker, but other that that I can get along well with almost anyone. I would prefer to have a guest for less than six month but willing to negotiate. Apartment is located near the dog park and trails north of the Glenmore reservoir, is one of the few blocks in all of Altadore that usually has lots of street parking. Short bus ride or drive to downtown, Mount Royal Collage or suburban shopping. Within walking distance to public indoor and outdoor pools, local shops and services. |
