| 1 Room for rent, in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment, located in Acadia near Macleod Trail SE Calgary available on June 1st, 2024 with possible early move-in. I am looking for a clean, responsible student or young professional, preferably non-smoking. I am a hardworking 29-year-old gay professional, who likes to keep the place clean and does not cook very often. I spend most of my summertime at work, outdoors, or out with friends. The apartment features a large living room, with another computer desk, and a stationary bicycle that I ride after work on days with bad weather, that you are welcome to utilize. There is also plenty of storage, located in the 5’x8’ hallway storage closet, suitable for car tires, bikes, shoes, luggage or seasonal items and clothing. The kitchen has a dishwasher, and other appliances for cooking with sufficient plates, mugs, utensils, pots and pans. Our bathroom is a full bath, with a single sink, but a spacious countertop with plenty of storage underneath. Your bedroom is 10’x11’, with an additional 28” deep and 6.5-foot wide closet. The bedroom has a Queen frame & mattress, additional furniture may be accommodated upon request and agreement. (The computer desk, storage bins, and mirror in some photos are the property of the prior tenant, and won’t be available.) The arrangement of the furniture in the bedroom has been in a few positions and I would be happy to assist you with re-arranging the layout to your liking. Your $900 monthly rent (OBO), and 1-month deposit equal to one month's rent, will include; Heat, Water, Electricity, and Internet (Shaw Internet 300). There is no cable TV. A TV is available for use with internet devices via HDMI Cable. Street Parking is available, laundry is card-operated, smoking is not permitted, and pets are not allowed. Calgary Co-op is across the street, and across from the Co-op is Save-On-Foods, roughly a 3-4-minute walk. Superstore, Walmart, Winners, Canadian Tire, Lowes and Safeway is a 5-minute drive, with plenty more choices being hosted nearby on Macleod Trail. Transit is right outside the door, with a covered bus stop at the edge of the property, and the returning bus stop just across the street. Heritage LRT Station is a 5-10 minute bus ride to and from the station. Nearby in the community are also the Acadia Aquatic & Fitness Centre, Acadia Recreation Complex, and the Osten & Victor Alberta Tennis Centre. |
